Just
about all my children’s
books come out of conversations
that I either have or had with
my children. I guess all parents
are a little concerned that their
children will feel a sense of
value. As their awareness grows,
children tend to compare themselves
to otherstheir abilities,
their gifts, their appearance.
That was really the beginning
of Hermie’s storyjust
walking with my children through
those times of developing a personal
sense of value, and trying to
help them understand that they
are valuable because they are
uniquely created by a God who
loves them.
Wormly,
